IBSA is scoping the development of a new TAE Certificate IV to support the delivery and assessment of foundation skills.
The project is a response to an identified gap in the capacity of the VET workforce to effectively address the foundation skills development needs of learners.
The proposed qual will aim to equip VET practitioners with the skills and knowledge to:
- work with both vocational and foundation skills specialist
- develop and implement integrated training and assessment solutions
- help build the capacity of their RTO to address the foundation skills needs of learners
- support the implementation of the Foundation Skills Training Package in their RTO.
